Arduino UNO+Arduino expansion board. Use the 4PIN wire to connect the sensor to the A2 port on the Arduino expansion board.
Note: If you do not use the Arduino expansion board, please use DuPont cable to connect the sensor to the Arduino development board
Arduino programming code
  • Connect the Arduino UNO development board with the expansion board to the computer through the USB cable
  • Use Arduino IDE to open the program
  • Select the corresponding development board and open the connection port
  • Open the serial port monitor and set the baud rate to 9600, upload the program
  • Insert the sensor into the soil with different humidity and observe the data changes
