Product Description
Hiwonder infrared obstacle avoidance sensor is used for detecting obstacle ahead. It is equipped with a pair of infrared transmitting and receiving tubes. Once it encounters obstacle, the infrared will be reflected, and then received by receiving tube, after which signal terminal OUT will output a low level signal. When receiving tube does not receive infrared, signal terminal OUT will output a high-level signal. User can judge whether there are obstacles ahead based on the condition of signal terminal OUT. The detection distance can be adjusted through a mini potentiometer on sensor.
This sensor can be widely applicable in robot and smart car obstacle avoidance.
